China blocks social media accounts linked to Bitcoin

Social media accounts related to bitcoin are being blocked in China. It follows an announcement by the Chinese government that it will step up a crackdown on bitcoin trading and mining. This and other announcements may have led to the cryptocurrency plummeting in price.
